Lisa Quadrini has joined Brandywine Oak Private Wealth in Kennett Square, Pa.

Brandywine Oak Private Wealth is expanding to South Carolina with its latest advisor hire.

The Kennett Square, Pa.-based RIA has hired former Wells Fargo advisor Lisa Quadrini to open up a new office in Kiawah Island, S.C.

For Quadrini (pictured), the decision to join Brandywine Oak is a reunion of sorts. Though Quadrini had worked for Wells Fargo since 2016, she spent nine years at Merrill Lynch from 1999-2008, where she was teammates with some of Brandywine Oak’s existing partners.

‘I’m going home to a team that I worked with 20 years ago, so the integrity and the reputation and that rapport was already established,’ Quadrini said in an interview. ‘So that was sort of a natural fit. And when we started a conversation at the beginning of 2021, it was very apparent to me how successful they had been doing that transition from a similar situation to where I was at the time.’

The staffers at Brandywine Oak broke away from Merrill Lynch in the summer of 2018 to set up their own independent RIA with Dynasty Financial Partners’ assistance. The firm today lists $856m in discretionary assets under management with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and says it advises on more than $1bn in assets.

Quadrini managed roughly $500m in assets while at Wells Fargo, Dynasty said. She is joining Brandywine Oak as a partner and private wealth manager.

Brandywine Oak’s chief executive, Michael Henley, joined Merrill after Quadrini departed. He told Citywire that Lisa ‘brings a lot of wisdom’ to the RIA.

‘Wealthy families require more sophisticated planning and they often have the burden that significant wealth creates in terms of keeping the next generation incentivized,’ Henley said. ‘Lisa brings a wealth of experience around those types of family dynamics.’
